On this workshop you will have the choice of either making a spinning ring OR 2 stacking rings - please select at booking so we can order correct silver
( If there is time and you would like to make a 3rd stacking ring then you can pay for additional silver on the day - cost is determined by silver prices on the day)
You will learn how to:
Measure / size your ring
Cut, anneal and shape silver
Texture your silver
Shape your ring
Solder your ring
Polish and finish your rings
You will get to try out your patterning and texture first in copper so you can see what they will look like before making them in silver. This is a fabulous way to learn the art of silversmithing. Tea and Coffee will be provided and you are welcome to bring sandwiches.

On this workshop you will make a fabulous rings out of silver with a sea glass setting. You will learn how to:
Measure/size your ring
Cut, anneal and shape silver
Create a bezel setting for sea glass (sea glass needs to fit within an approx 1.5cm square)
Shape your ring
Solder your ring
Setting sea glass
Polish and finish your ring
This is a fabulous way to learn the art of silversmithing.

Chine Colle Lino Printing
Friday 16th October 2026 9.30 am - 12.30pm
Chine Colle is a beautiful printmaking process allowing you to add coloured tissue paper to your design during the printing process creating coloured layers behind your finished print.
On this workshop you will create a lino block and learn how to print it using the chine colle method on our printing press. The process embeds the tissue paper into the heavyweight printmaking paper and you can create lots of different vibrant colourful versions of your print using this method and a single lino block.
Please bring found images, sketches or ideas you would like to work with. Sample images will also be available.

Create a beautiful printed concertina book using gelli printing and natural materials. You will have time to learn about gelli printing and to experiment with creating wonderful mono prints which we will then collate into a concertina book. A fun experimental workshop, no experience necessary (and you don’t need to be able to draw!) Please bring an apron (printing is messy !) all other materials and equipment are provided.

Turn your beachcombing finds into jewellery. We will be working with sea glass, beach sourced broken china and pebbles. On this workshop you will learn how to :
make an open bezel setting using silver
set your sea glass / china / pebble
soldering
finishing and polishing
Bring your own favourite pieces to set or use some we have found for you already. You can make pendants or earrings. Fine silver wire/bezel strips, chain, ear wires, solder and jump rings are included.
Ebru is a traditional Islamic and Turkish art also known as marbling. It is one of the oldest forms of Turkish art, but exactly where or when it started remains unknown. The basic technique involves paints that are made to float on the surface of thickened water where they are manipulated into designs using needles/ sticks/ brushes and then transferred onto paper and fabrics.
On this course you will learn how to use traditional Turkish natural pigment paints to create fabulous patterns. The rich and vibrant colours we will be using come from Istanbul to enable an authentic experience. You will then use your fabulous paper you have created to make a stab bound book using traditional Japanese bookbinding methods.
Mezzotint Workshop - NEW
Discover the rich, velvety tones of mezzotint, a beautiful traditional printmaking technique renowned for its deep blacks and subtle gradations of light and shade.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be introduced to the mezzotint process and learn how to create an image by carefully working from dark to light. You’ll prepare and develop your plate, explore different tools and mark-making techniques, and experience the excitement of inking and printing your finished image.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with some printmaking experience, the workshop offers plenty of time to experiment, learn and create your own unique mezzotint print.
All materials and equipment are provided. No previous experience necessary.

Silver clay is fabulous for making real silver jewellery and is really easy to use. On this course we will be using nature as our inspiration making silicon moulds of natural items such as shells, seedpods, feathers, flowers and leaves. Using these moulds and silver clay we will create fabulous silver jewellery which is torch fired and hand finished.
You will also learn how to make your own ear wires for earrings. The course includes silicone moulding material, 7g of silver clay, necklace and silver wire to make ear wires and all other equipment and materials. This is enough for several pieces of jewellery. Additional silver clay and findings are available to purchase on the day.

Discover the rich, tactile world of collagraph printmaking in this relaxed, hands-on 3-hour workshop. Perfect for beginners and those with some experience, you’ll explore how to build textured printing plates using a range of everyday materials, then ink and print your own unique designs. Guided step-by-step, you’ll experiment with layering, mark-making and composition to create expressive, one-of-a-kind prints to take home. This is a welcoming, creative session with plenty of room to play, learn new techniques and enjoy the process—no prior experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get a little inky!

Lino Printing is a very simple but effective method of printmaking. First you will design an image, then using basic tools, you will carve your design into a lino block and produce multiple prints all of which will have slight variations. You will learn how to use both a professional printing press as well as hand printing which can be done at home.
Suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to develop their skills

You will be using inks & paint, so bring an apron or wear suitable clothes
