Paula's classes combine intelligently sequenced asanas (yoga postures) with breath awareness and relaxation techniques. Classes are responsive and sensitively structured to help you help yourself from the inside out.

Chair Flair Yoga

Many traditional yoga poses can be challenging for the knees and hips. This class will ensure you get all the benefits of a well rounded yoga practice by fully utilising the creative possibilities of a chair. Sitting will never be the same again!

Perfect for beginners or anyone with knee/hip injuries or restrictions.

Yoga Soma Flow

Great for beginners. Open to people of all ages (from 18 upwards)

  • Yoga makes you feel better inside and out!

  • Discover the importance of breath and movement

  • Learn some of the essential yoga postures (asanas) and sequences

  • Learn breathing practices and relaxation techniques

  • All equipment is provided

Paula’s approach encourages you to listen to your body rather than obeying instructions or trying to copy a pose. The intention is to move with increased ease and efficiency promoting vitality and expressiveness on and off the mat. Paula combines yoga with somatics which essentially means to listen to the body, to take time to breath and to take note of how you are moment to moment. Slow Flow Rest - Saturday Workshop

DATE: Saturday 15th September
TIME: 10am to 12.15pm
COST: £25  (£20 for Friends Of Drywater)

A skilful blend of yoga postures and somatic release techniques.

Somatic movement offers intuitive, playful possibilities to a yoga practice encouraging you to listen, refine and respond to your body in the moment. The workshop will build toward a progressive continuous flow, ending with a deeply relaxing and refreshing yoga Nidra session.

Yoga Nidra is the practice of yogic sleep.


A Little Bit Of Me Time - Saturday Workshop

DATE: Saturday 20th October
TIME: 10am to 12.15pm
COST: £25 (£20 for Friends Of Drywater)

CD of relaxing music and a beautiful printed notebook provided.

 A workshop to equip you with some creative self care skills. A combination of mindful movement with centering/calming practices.

The workshop will conclude with a guided relaxation.


Back To Back - Saturday Workshop

DATE: Saturday 17th November
TIME: 10am to 12.15pm

Lower back pain is incredibly common particularly with increasingly sedentary working conditions and lifestyle habits (the box set binge!). This workshop will offer some practical and effective ways to maintain a flexible and fluid range of movement.

Paula will use a range of techniques drawn from yoga and somatics to strengthen and mobilise the spine to bring a sense of release and greater awareness of the structure and integrated function of the spine and the limbs - only connect!!

Candlelit Yoga Nidra - Saturday Workshop

DATE: Saturday 22nd December

Yoga Nidra is the art of yogic sleep - a deeply effective relaxation technique.

This workshop will give you the gift of time and a chance to literally take the weight of your feet at this busy time of year. A time for deep  relaxation as Paula guides you gently toward the delights of totally releasing body and mind.

A perfect antidote to Christmas lists and queues!
