COVID GUIDANCE

Prior to Arrival:

If you are suffering from symptoms of Covid-19 please don't come to the course. Phone or email us and we can rearrange your place on another workshop.

 Arrival

  • Workshop participants may arrive 15 minutes before a session. We can't let you in before this as there is no space for waiting. There will be information on the day about which door to use for entry depending on the class you are attending.

  • Please maintain social distancing outside the building with others waiting to come in.

  • You will be met by a member of the Dry Water Team and your name checked against the booking list - this ensures your data is secure and we also comply with Track and Trace.

  • We will also take your temperature and ask you to sanitise your hands. If your temperature is at 38 degrees  or above you will be asked not to come into the building and return home.

  • If you are using the track and trace app then you will find the QR codes by the entrance.

In the building

  • Please only bring essential items - bags and coats can be stored in tubs beside your table  for arts and creativity workshops or at the edge of the room or in the communal area for yoga / dance etc.

  • Sanitiser is provided and will be available at a number of locations in the building.

  • For indoor workshops everyone is to wear a face mask unless you are exempt.  This is optional for outdoor workshops. While doing yoga / exercise you may remove your mask once on your mat but you must wear one in communal areas and while moving around the building. You may also remove it while soldering on the silversmithing workshops (fire risk!) We will update this guidance regularly in line with regulations.

  • We will avoid the sharing of tools and equipment where possible. However, if tools are to be shared we will ensure that these are cleaned before and after each use and users also sanitise their hands before use too.

  • Safety glasses and any other safety equipment used by participants  will be cleaned before and after use.

  • We have a one way system in place for both upstairs and downstairs. This will vary depending on classes running - you will be advised on arrival.

  • You are welcome to bring your own mugs for  tea or coffee if you prefer to.

  • We will keep windows open to increase the air flow so please bring a sweater with you in case you get cold.

  • We have a fabulous new projector system so that you can see close up demonstrations without having to  stand close to anyone!
