Dry Water launches its Curiosity Cafe - for people living with dementia

A wonderful start to our Curiosity Cafe in sunny Amble.

We began with a blank canvas and as people arrived we slowly began to get to know a little about everyone who had gathered.

Musical preferences, the strength of "good" coffee, pelicans, woodpeckers, pets we have loved, calligraphy, dancing, balancing, spinning and yo yo's!

All of these creative offers form an important part of meeting, greeting and honouring people just as they are and with what matters to them. Curiosity cafe is about creative communication.
