Peoples Emergency Briefing Screening : Sunday 24th May 6.30pm
What’s happening with climate and nature, and how should our community of Amble respond to the crisis?
Join us at Dry Water Arts Centre on Sunday 24th May 6.30pm for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing- an eye-opening new film where leading UK scientists explain what the climate and nature crisis means for our food, health, weather and the cost of living.
This film is a call to action to treat climate change as the emergency it is and that, as a country, our response should be proportionate to the scale of the risk to our security and wellbeing. It follows on from the National Emergency Briefing delivered by scientists to decision makers in Westminster at the end of 2025.
Following the 50 minute film featuring Chris Packham and leading scientists there will be a facilitated discussion. There will be a bar from 6pm - screening at 6.30pm
You can see the trailer for the film HERE
The screening is FREE but booking is essential
