Shadow puppets are remarkably accessible and easy to both make and operate. They don't require expensive materials; you can create them from simple household items like cardboard, paper, or plastic. All you need is a light source, a screen and  imagination. The operation is intuitive—by moving the puppet closer or farther from the light, you can change its size and focus, creating dramatic effects. This simplicity makes shadow puppetry a fantastic starting point for anyone interested in creative expression, regardless of their age or experience it's also quite a giggle to make characters  stories and situations as you improvise

 We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need to create your very own shadow characters. Making shadow puppets is a wonderful way to boost your creative skills, learn to work as a team, and have a lot of fun together.

Beyond the workshop, the skills you learn will be an important part of our town's final magical performance in November! Your handmade puppets  and  or even your own body  shadow moves could take centre stage, helping to bring our community's stories to life. It's an opportunity to contribute your creativity to a  series of magical events in and around Amble
