Create a unique Father's Day gift in this introductory landscape pastel workshop! I'll guide you through an iconic view of Northumberland's coastline using soft pastels.
As a small group of up to 10, we'll warm up with pastel mark marking and create quick sketches to explore the colours and compositions that make our coastline so spectacular. Then you'll spend time drawing a view of Northumberland's coastline that's special to you and your loved one. You'll leave feeling more confident with using pastels and with your own landscape drawing.
All abilities welcome. Materials provided.
Please bring images (digital or print outs) that you'd like to draw from. A selection of images will be provided as print outs.
Artist Frances Arnold lives in Morpeth, Northumberland. She studied Fine Art at Newcastle University and trained with the Royal Drawing School in 2024.
