Join the Rest Revolution

Come and enjoy the delights of choosing to consciously relax. Yoga Nidra is a guided form of total relaxation. It is said to soothe the nervous system, improve sleep and to promote healing. The class will include:

  • Gentle easeful movement

  • Easy and effective breathing techniques

  • Practical pragmatic ways in which to relax the mind

Each session concludes with a sustained supine (posh word which means you lie down!) guided relaxation in which Paula guides you to a deeper state of deep rest and release. Paula’s approach draws on many years of somatic movement practices and a life long interest in relaxation/meditation techniques.

“In everything I do I want people to feel at home in their bodies. I try to offer practices that are kindly, pragmatic and effective. It matters deeply to me that you feel welcome and at ease so that you can be well rested, restored and rejuvenated” PAULA TURNER

Wear warm comfortable clothing. Mats, blankets , bolsters and eye pillows are all provided but feel free to bring your favourite blankets/pillows or as someone once suggested your pyjamas…!!

This is what people say about the sessions:

Mind cleansing. Grounding. Space and time you would rarely allow yourself.
Refreshing and reflective , relaxes the mind and body
The best present I gave myself
I arrived frazzled and left feeling wonderfully relaxed and ready for the week to come.

These two hour Sunday sessions run from 3-5pm and cost £20
