This completely free workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to experience movement with live music, fostering a unique connection between your body, mind, and spirit. With Paulas light-touch guidance, honed through years of professional and community work , you will be gently led through basic techniques that underpin the art of improvising, focusing on:
Listening: Tuning into the music and your own inner rhythm.
Responding: Engaging in a dynamic conversation with the sounds around you.
Expressing: Finding the freedom to let go and move authentically.
We will explore techniques to help you get into the groove, allowing you to ride the wave of the music and discover new ways to express yourself. Live music creates a profoundly different effect on how we respond, fostering that cherished synergy between movement and sound.
Come along and learn some skills, find your freedom, and connect with the pure delight of live music!
